Mrs.Jenny CHU complained to Ontario College Physician and Surgeons about Chinese Psychiatrist Univ.Toronto Assistant Professor T. LO who treated her Vietnamese Cantonese-speaking Paranoid Schizophrenic brother Huc Minh CHAU who used a meat cleaver to kill his mentally retarded common-law wife and two children. Court sent him to the Criminally insane section of the Toronto-East Whitby Mental Hospital. Mrs.CHU's sister is also a Schizophrenic, treated by Prof.Lo.The Trial of Prof LO continues.

Mrs S.FENTIE-PIERCE wants an apology from her VAUGHAN Liberal MPP G.SORBARA.
Mrs. S.FENTIE-PIERCE went to ask Mr. SORBARA for his help for her physically violent,non-speaking, 14y son affected with AUTISM. It seems that Mrs Fentie-Pierce wants the Provincial Government to pay for an in-house attendant at $42/hour. As a first-aid measure Mr. Sorbara explained that if Mrs. Fentie-Pierce made a technical charge of "assault", a Judge could speed admission to a residential home. Alternatively her son could be made a charge of the Childtren's Aid Society. Mrs. Fentie-Pierce found this advice "insulting and insensitive" and got front page coverage with her story, (with photos of her son), by Staff reporter Madhavi Acharya-Tom YEW.

We no longer tolerate threats, abuse and other misbehaviour from "bad" patients and decided to create a blog to rate patients, just as patients rate md's. Patients, up until now, could misbehave, threaten, abuse or complain without ever having their names published and without repercussions in the case of a frivolous and malicious complaint. Of course we are all aware of privacy issues regarding patients' health and medical status and we must respect these issues. However, some patients behave very badly and there seems to be nothing docs or staff can do to fight back .....or is there? In many instances this bad behaviour has nothing to do with medical issues so there is no reason why we can't keep a list of patients who "misbehave", hoping that perhaps the next potential victims (physician/office staff) be forewarned about accepting these patients. Obviously "psych" patients should be exempt from this list. Patients "misbehave" in the following ways:
1). chronic no-shows
2). physical violence to md or staff
3). verbal violence to md or staff
4). demands for md's to sign illegal documents and certificates
5). frivolous complaints to medical licensing authorities
6). threats and blackmail to obtain narcotics
